Zeke’s Story

Zeke’s journey began early - on his second day of life it was apparent that something wasn’t right. He was immediately taken to the NICU where he underwent many tests and procedures until he was diagnosed with JMML (a rare form of Leukemia) at six weeks of age. From that moment, the Ramseys have attacked this diagnosis as a family. For over two years, Zeke has received many different treatments to rid his body of cancer. He is currently taking an at-home chemotherapy pill daily. In the coming months, doctors will determine if a bone marrow transplant will be needed.

Despite the many challenges Zeke has faced in his short life, he is full of joy! He loves to be outside with his parents finding bugs or getting near water. His love for dinosaurs is big, which inspired the design of his shirt. Zeke has taken everything that comes with his diagnosis in stride and continued to “ride the wave”.
