Evan’s Story

Evan is a 10 year old boy battling a rare mitochondrial disfunction. His condition is progressive physically and regressive mentally. At the age of 3 he started having seizures and over the course of the next two years it became clear that the seizures were a symptom of a larger disorder. He is a medical zebra!

Despite twice weekly IV infusions, frequent seizures and multiple daily supports, Evan smiles and continues to encourage people to be kind!
