Annie’s Story

In November 2023, Annie was diagnosed with diffuse anaplasia wilms tumor. She was two years old. She immediately underwent a tumor and right kidney removal surgery as well as had her port placed. Annie has gone through radiation and 14 rounds of chemo in hopes that all cells that could potentially grow more tumors have been killed. From the beginning, Annie’s family coined the term “tiny but mighty” when talking about Annie. She was able to be treated at St. Jude in Memphis which they are so grateful for but it has also meant lots of time spent away from her other siblings which has been hard on them all.

In October 2024 Annie was able to ring the bell officially signaling the end of her treatment and have her port removed. She will continue to receive regular scans for the rest of her life but her family is so grateful to be entering this next season of healing from all they have been through.

The song “The Story I’ll Tell” by Naomi Raine has been a go to for the family during this season. While this has been incredibly challenging, they pray that Annie will come out of this with an amazing testimony of how God has been beside them each step of this journey. Through this shirt they pray that every person is encouraged to remember that the Lord is with them through every high and every low and we each have a story to tell of His faithfulness!
