Hudson’s Story

Hudson Boyce’s first two years of life were much like any other child’s. He was healthy and developing as expected when spontaneously, at the age of two, he began having grand mal seizures. There was no known cause to these seizures. Since they began in 2022, the seizures have progressed and increased significantly. The condition worsened despite countless treatments, medications and therapies. Much of this last year, Hudson has required 24/7 monitoring as the seizures have caused significant developmental regressions and delays.

When Hudson was born, it was spoken over his life that he would be a worshipper. He has lived that out by always being drawn to worship music and singing it boldly. He is particularly drawn to playing his ukelele while singing. Since the grand mal seizures began, one of the major regressions Hudson has faced is his ability to speak. The challenges have been extraordinary and diverse for his family.

After 6 months without talking, Hudson has recently been able to speak again - an absolute miracle! He even excitedly told his mom, Amanda, “mom, I can sing!” When she asked what he could sing he replied “Graves into Gardens” which is the song his shirt was inspired by. What a miracle! Hudson’s life and testimony speak hope to anyone who hears it. His life is a beautiful example of how the Lord turns mourning into dancing.
